The principal of the Government Arts College in Tamil Nadu’s Udhagamandalam has been placed under suspension following allegations that he demanded bribes from students, an allegation that he denied.
S Arul Antony was suspended on September 27 after Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Coimbatore, V Kalaiselvi conducted an inquiry based on the directions of the Directorate of College Education (DCE). Kalaiselvi submitted her findings earlier this week.
